Dr. Erpur Snær Hansen, biologist at the South Iceland Institute of Natural History says that puffin hunting in Vestmannaeyjar (Westman Islands) was for years double what would have been sustainable. Puffin hunting has been banned in the islands since 2010.

An art exhibition will open this weekend in the Sculpture Garden in Reykjavík city center. One of the sculptures is a sound sculpture by artist Finnbogi Pétursson. The piece consists of Reykjavík Mayor's snoring.
