Jon Gnarr, the mayor of Reykjavik, has been an adversary of the Icelandic naming laws for a long time. He wont get his family name approved and he was not allowed to name his daughter Camilla. The mayor wrote a Facebook status about this today.

Much happened in the small and peaceful village of Stykkishólmur in South Iceland last weekend. Drunk guys stole a sheep from a nearby farm and were playing with it inside the village. A police car was totaled when it drove full speed into a horse, causing the horse to explode.
