Archery at the Reykjavik International games
Archery has been a part of the Reykjavík International Games since 2011. The tournament is according to FITA regulations with recurve and compound bows. 2 x 30 arrows are shot and then the 8 highest scores in each group will shoot head to head (12 arrows) matches until we have result. FITA triple target is used for compound bows but 40 cm targets for the recurve bows.

Reykjavík International Games - January 17th - 27th 2013
The city of Reykjavík will for the sixth time welcome sports participants to a multisport competition in Laugardalur, the Valley of Sport, taking place in January 2013. Athletes will compete at a high level in various sports using world class facilities. They will also have the opportunity to visit Reykjavík, with all its sights and sounds.
Badminton at the Reykjavik International games
Tennis- and Badminton Club of Reykjavik is the organizer of the badminton event of the Reykjavik International Games. The badminton tournament is a junior tournament for all age groups, U-13, U-15, U-17 and U-19. Players can enter all categories: singles, doubles and mixed doubles.
Table tennis at the Reykjavik International games
The table tennis tournament of the Reykjavik International Games started in 2011. It is a great honor for Table Tennis Club Vikingur to organize an exciting tournament and to have the opportunity to do its best to make the table tennis tournament of the Reykjavik International Games unforgettable.
Dance at the Reykjavik International games
There will be three dance competitions this weekend. The main event is the RIG WDSF International Latin Open, which will be held on Saturday evening. During Saturday and Sunday there will be a RIG competition for all ages, but as always we start with the youngest. There will be 7 international WDSF adjudicators judging the dancing this weekend along with an international chairman.
Gymnastics at the Reykjavik International games
Gymnastics have been a part of The Reykjavík International Games since 2008. The tournament has varied in form, sometimes an Artistic gymnastic competition and sometimes a Teamgym competition with strong Icelandic and foreign teams participating. The tournament will be held in Laugardalur Sports Hall. This year it will be held by Ármann, one of Iceland’s oldest Gymnastic clubs, with technical support from the Icelandic Gymnastic Federation.
Judo at the Reykjavik International games
The Judo Federation of Iceland is celebrating its 40 years anniversary in January 2013. In collaboration with the RIG (Reykjavik International Games), a multi sport event to be held from 17 th to 27th of January, we will have OPEN JUDO TOURNAMENT for men and women on the 19th of January from 10 - 4 pm.
Karate at the Reykjavik International games
The Icelandic karate Federation is very proud to be a part of the Reykjavik International Games for the first time. The tournament is going to take place at Vikingur sports club, Traðarland 1, Reykjavik, home of Vikingur Karate club. The karate tournament is going to be on Saturday the 26th of January 2013, for cadets, juniors and under 21 years.
Bowling at the Reykjavik International games
The tournament will start with 6 games played in 3 groups. Top 16 from the 6 games qualify, top 4 will continue to the final step 2 but players seated 5-16 will play 6 games starting from scratch. Top 6 of this 6 games will be continuing to final step 2.
Powerlifting at the Reykjavik International games
Powerlifting is the ultimate strength competition and an exciting sport where athletes compete against the force of iron as well as other athletes. The powerlifting athlete competes in three specific disciplines designed to measure different areas of human strength. The three disciplines, in contest order, that make up the sport are the squat, benchpress and deadlift. Last two years we organized a deadlift meet at the Reykjavík International Games, but now it's time to benchpress.
