This recipe is for two burgers.
Hamburger "bread" and fries
1 sweet potato
4 tbsp. sesame seeds
1 tsp. oregano
Oil
Salt and pepper
Peel the sweet potato and slice four nice slices from the middle of it (or where it is thickest) to use as a hamburger bread and wrap them into aluminum foil. Slice the rest of the sweet potatoes into french fries and put a little olive oil or coconut oil on them. Then spice them with salt and pepper and sprinkle some sesame seeds over them. Put the sweet potato hamburger bread and the fries into the oven for around 30 minutes on 175°C (350°F). After taking the sweet potatoes out of the oven, spice the hamburger "breads“ with oregano.
Hamburger patty
200-300g (around ½ a pound) ground beef
1 egg (or 2 egg whites)
2-3 cloves garlic
½ onion (yellow or red)
Salt and pepper
Put the ground beef in a bowl. Minch the garlic gloves or chop it well and put it into the bowl as well as the other ingredients. Mix it well together and form two nice hamburger patties. It is nice to add some more spices on the hamburgers after they are made, like black pepper and/or season all. I like to barbecue my burgers but it is also good to fry them on a pan for a few minutes. I also recommend frying bacon and egg to put on the burger.
Guacamole
2 avocados
½ lime
1 tomato
½ red onion
1 small chili
Salt and pepper
Put all the ingredients into a food processor and mix them together. Spice with a little bit of salt and pepper.
