Snorri Þórisson CEO of the movie production company Pegasus, that assists the HBO film crew, says that they will film in South Iceland and a similar number of people will be involved as before.
"This is all happening during the second half of July. The extent is similar. There will be well over 100 people and when the extra actors are counted this could go up to 200 people in total." said Snorri.
Pegasus recently advertised for twenty bald Icelanders to play part roles in the episodes. Snorri said that there was a lot of reaction to the advertisements.
"Yes, we got very many bald men. It seems like all Icelanders are loosing their hair now."
Icelandic landscape could be seen many times in the second and third season of Game of Thrones, but the scenery has received many complements. The filming in Iceland has for example taken place near Vatnajokull glacier, Snæfellsjokull glacier and Lake Myvatn but other scenes have been filmed in Northern Ireland, Scotland, Malta, Morocco and Croatia.
