On top of that, the Danish Frederik Ægidius competed out of Iceland as he trains a lot in CrossFit Reykjavík with his girlfriend Anníe Thorisdottir. Frederik was 15th in the Games out of 46 men. Great success.
Two Icelandic Teams at the Games
Two Icelandic teams competed in the Games as THOR (CrossFit Stodin) was 17th and Reebok CrossFit Reykjavík 19th, out of 43 teams.
On top of that, two Icelanders were competing for the Swedish team, Crossfit Nordic, which was 9th in the Games.
Last Sunday, Rich Froning was crowned the Fittest Man on Earth for the 3rd consecutive year. In Anníe's absence, British Samantha Briggs claimed the title, Fittest Woman on Earth.
