Icelandic football legend, Eidur Smari Gudjohnsen says in an article for British Sports Direct today that Gareth Bale should leave Tottenham if the team fails to secure a Champions League space. Gudjohnsen played for Tottenham in 2010 and Icelandic Gylfi Sigurdsson is doing well with the team today.
Gylfi Sigurdsson's late equaliser earned Tottenham a point at Chelsea, but Spurs missed the chance to climb into the Premier League's top four. After the goal Gylfi is all over the British media, as the Sun's front (web)page from last night proves.

"Hopefully this will turn out to be an important goal" said Gylfi Sigurdsson, who plays for Tottenham, after a 2-2 draw in the English Premier League today. Sigurdsson scored the equalizer for Tottenham when there were only a few minutes left of the game, which could turn out to be valuable in the battle for participation in the Champions League.

The association of Premier League teams ('Icelandic Top-Football') in Iceland decides what ball to use every year. For this year they selected a ball from Adidas to replace the one from Nike that they used for the past two year. Some players are far from happy with the change.
It's maybe no surprise that Gylfi Sigurdsson is the far most valuable Icelandic football player. He is valuated at 8 million Euros ($10.2 million). But there are still 10 other Icelandic football players whose market value is 1 million Euros or more, according to the football statistics website transfermarkt.it that values all European football players.
