The largest solar powered ship in the world is on its way to Reykjavik, Iceland. The ship is called MS Tûranor PlanetSolar, but known under the project name PlanetSolar.  The 31-meter boat is covered in over 500 square meters of solar panels rated 93 kW, which in turn connect to one of the two electric motors in each hull.

Innovation for people with milk allergy or those lactose intolerant.

Two business partners in Bolungarvík, in the West Fjords of Iceland, plan to start an unusual milk production this spring. Hálfdán Óskarsson, milk technologist, and Þórarinn Egill Sveinsson, milk engineer, are behind the idea and the company called Arna ehf. The idea is to produce milk for those allergic or intolerant, by removing the lactose.
