News and information site ozy.com did a story on Unwed Mothers in Iceland and talks about how women can have it all here. "In Iceland, marriage isn’t an institution; it’s not even a hobby."
Instead, Iceland is a country with tons of divorce and the highest percentage of working mothers. Sound like a formula for social ruin? Hardly. 'Staying together for the sake of the children' is a foreign concept in Iceland
The slideshow mostly focuses on Þóra Arnórsdóttir, TV journalist and former presidential candidate. She ran the presidential race while she was pregnant, giving birth just weeks before the election. At the time, she already had two small children, plus three stepchildren, with a partner to whom she isn't married.

According to the OECD's Better Life Index, Icelanders are among the happiest and healthiest people on Earth.
