The Greenland Days festival takes place in Reykjavík from today (March 28th) until next Wednesday (April 2nd). It starts at 4 pm today in Melabúðin local supermarket in Reykjavík where they will serve unique food from Greenland followed by a spectacular photography show from Greenland by Ragnar Axelsson.
On Sunday (March 30th) the festival will continue in Harpa concert hall from 2-5 pm, where Icelandic companies will promote their work in Greenland. At 3 pm on Sunday a concert will take place in Kaldalón in Harpa, where musicians from Iceland and Greenland will perform. Money will be raised for children and young people in Greenland.
On Tuesday (April 1st) a symposium will take place in the Nordic House called "Iceland and Greenland - Neighboring nations and friends in the North".
The Greenland Days will also take place in various places all over the city, in schools and kindergartens, companies and old people's homes.
