Possible strike in the Union of University Teachers

The following announcement is due to a possible strike in the Union of University Teachers. This strike will severely disrupt university operations, both students’ studies and other university activities. This is happening now, when high school (junior college) teachers in Iceland are already on strike. If the University teacher's strike goes through as well, a large part of young people in Iceland will be inactive at the same time.

Greenland days start in Reykjavík today

The Greenland Days festival takes place in Reykjavík from today (March 28th) until next Wednesday (April 2nd). It starts at 4 pm today in Melabúðin local supermarket in Reykjavík where they will serve unique food from Greenland followed by a spectacular photography show from Greenland by Ragnar Axelsson.
