The Icelandic Met Office has issued a weather warning for tonight and tomorrow. A storm (over 20 m/s) is expected in northwestern Iceland and the highlands.

Whole country forecast for next 24 hours

Southwest 5 to 10 m/s and occasional rain- or sleetshowers in the west part, elsewhere light winds and widely fair. Becoming southeast 10 to 15 m/s with rain after noon, lighter wind and mostly dry in the northeast. Southwest 13 to 20 with rain- or snowshowers in the west part late evening and tonight, becoming dry in the eastern part. Lighter southwest wind and rain in the south part tomorrow, else light rain- or sleetshowers. Temperature 3 to 10 deg. C, during the day, warmest in the northeast, cooler in the west part tonight.
