The fifth and final week of the 2014 Reebok CrossFit Open is officially over. 8 men, 8 women and 5 teams from Iceland qualify for the Regionals in Europe which will be held in Ballerup, Denmark May 16th – 18th. The fittest 48 men and 48 women in each region are invited to compete in the Regionals as well as the top 30 teams. The regions are 17 and the fittest from each region will compete in the CrossFit Games in LA in July.
Annie is 3rd in Europe and 28th in the world. Jakob Magnusson is 1st in Europe and 33rd in the world and Björgvin Karl Guðmundsson is 2nd in Europe and 44th in the world. Many other Icelanders are doing very well. Check out the results.

Masters Men 55-59 years old: Hilmar Hardarson in 3rd place.
Masters Men 60+ years old: Magnús Sigurðsson in 70th place, Sigurgeir Bjarnason in 169th place and Thorlakur Karlsson in 171st place.
These seven Masters athletes have the opportunity to submit their scores for four additional workouts in April. Then the top 20 Masters athletes in each division will be invited to compete at the CrossFit Games in July.
